The Temple Mount
The temple mount, also known as Haram al-Sharif is the third most sacred site
according to islamic tradition and the holiest site in Jerusalem according to Judaism.
The main attractions are the dome of the rock covered with gold and located on the
site of the first and second temple; and the Al Aqsa mosque which dates back to the
7th century and can contain up to 5000 worshippers.
Mount of Olives
Mount of Olives, overlooking the over 2000 years old jewish cemetery offers a
panoramic view of the old city and the temple mount.

The Tower of David
Located right near Jaffa gate, the fortress was built centuries after king David but is
still very impressive. Besides the ruins around the tower there is a museum inside
that depicts the story of Jerusalem through the centuries.
From the top of the tower enjoy the breathtaking view of the old city.
The Windmill at Yemin Moshe
The windmill square offers a panoramic view of the walls of the old city. Automated
machines will tell you the stories of the windmill, the first jewish neighborhood built
outside the walls of the old city in the 19th century.
From there take your time strolling through the beautiful, dazzling and peaceful
streets but be prepared for the many stairs.
Mahane Yehuda Market
No trip to Jerusalem can be complete without a visit to the bustling Machane Yehuda
Market. Here you can buy fresh produce, spices and even clothes during the day, get
a drink and grab some food in the evening or even dance the night away.
Yad Vashem Museum
Yad Vashem is the second most visited place and largest holocaust museum in
Israel. Besides commemorating the millions of jews who lost their lives during the
shoah, Yad Vashem also honors the righteous among the nations.
The Israel Museum
The 17th largest museum in the world is by far the best museum in Israel.
Here you can find entire synagogues imported from different countries, the shrine of
the book with the dead sea scrolls and a large size model of Jerusalem at the
beginning of the new era.
Ein Kerem Neighborhood
A historic mountain village rich in biblical history, an ancient Arabic village and now a
neighborhood of Jerusalem.
You can walk by Mary’s spring or visit the church of St John the Baptist or simply sit
at a cafe and walk around the beautiful town with its blue windows.

There is no better way to discover the old city than to meander in its picturesque
alleys.
Take your time walking through the different quarters and immerse yourself by
stopping for a coffee, hummus or typical arabic pastries
