Harmony and beauty – that these words can describe the BahaiGardens in Haifa. They descend the slope of Mount Carmel in the sea, separated by a lovely terrace with fountains, affecting its symmetry and beauty.
The Bahai faith is one of the youngest, she was born May 23, 1844 inIran. This religion believe that the human soul is eternal and God is the same for all religions. All people shall have equal rights, and men and women – is part of a whole. Their faith celebrates the beauty of the world, and their mission – to make the world a more beautiful place.
At the top of Mount Carmel is located in Haifa shrine – the burial place of the Bab, the prophet-martyr of the Bahai Faith and Forerunner of Bahaullah, the founder of the Faith.
For the Bahai religion Mount Carmel is a place of pilgrimage and the holiest place on Earth after the Shrine of Bahaullah. The park, laid out around this shrine is considered sacred. He is one of the most beautiful parks in the world, consists of 19 terraces (it’s a special number for the religion) and stretches for a kilometer from the base of Mount Carmel to its summit.
